  • If you’re a collector (or on the way to become one) who cares about realism, you know that not all "small cars" are created equal. While brands like Hot Wheels are iconic, they often use "box scale" to fit a standard package. I have collected these cars too, but once I have got my first Mini GT, the difference was crystal clear. I have sold most of my HW cars, but of course kept my favorite ones, and now I am focusing only on true 1:64 scale. It means the model is exactly 1/64th the size of the real car—if you park a tiny Mini next to a tiny Suburban, the size difference will look just like it does on the street.
